About Our Classrooms
Our main facility is in Sanger, Tx. Located between, and somewhat north of, Dallas and Fort Worth, we are conveniently located for students in the D/FW areas, as well as much of Oklahoma. We are less than an hour from the DFW International Airport and will be glad to make local travel and lodging arrangements for students who are flying in. DFW International Airport is a major hub for many airlines, so flights in and out of it are cheap and plentiful. Don't assume visiting us would be beyond your means, you might be surprised!
Our Sanger, TX kitchen has a cork floor, which is very easy on ones feet, ankles and knees. We have plenty of counter space, and all the usual amenities. One of the things we really like about our facility is the exhaust fan above the oven! This exhausts the excess heat from the oven and helps keep our kitchen temperatures very comfortable!
We also use a larger facility in the Evergreen Academy in Evergreen, Colorado from time to time in conjunction with Mountain Tops Milling. Gisele and the gang at Mountain Tops Milling make learning - and teaching - there a real treat! We can handle up to 20 students with ease. We have two ovens, lots of workspace, and the amazing and exclusive sauna room.
Evergreen is close enough to Denver to be accessible but far enough out to be beautiful! Evergreen is at an altitude of 7,200 feet so our classes there focus on making our techniques work at high altitudes.
We are looking into renting facilities in Albuquerque New Mexico, as well as additional facilities in Austin, Houston and Plano Texas.
All our facilities have adequate parking in a safe area, adequate sanitary facilities, good equipment to learn to bake with, and an area where we can share lunch, tea or snacks.
Wherever we have our classes, some things are constants - our students make great bread and we have a good time!
We're proud of our facilities, and hope to see you soon!
